Hi there! I’m Gina Woelfel - founder of Mood Edit & Co.

Mood Edit & Co was created from years of working at the intersection of creativity, branding, and real-world business growth. Before stepping into digital consulting, I built my career as a professional makeup artist across editorial, fashion, film sets, and luxury weddings, where understanding visual storytelling and presentation became second nature.

For more than a decade, I led social media and marketing strategy for one of Boston’s MetroWest’s most highly accredited beauty salons, supporting a team of over 30 stylists and helping grow a reputation backed by more than 950 positive Google reviews.

During that time, under my guidance, the salon earned national recognition, including two Salon Today Salons of the Year honors, an International IBI Award runner-up distinction, and multiple years voted locally “Best MetroWest Salon.” These experiences shaped my approach to clear positioning, modern digital presence, and consistent exposure.

Over time, business owners began seeking my honest feedback and strategic direction beyond the salon space. That demand led me to branch out as an independent consultant, working with multiple small businesses throughout Boston’s MetroWest and surrounding communities. Today, Mood Edit & Co brings together editorial creativity and practical strategy to help brands refine how they show up online with digital clarity, confidence, and purpose.
